Beaching Around

We got up and set off down to cable beach. when we reached Cable beach we walk down to the sailing boat hire place 
they told us to come back in an hour, so guess what I did I swam! THen after a well spent hour we went and I got a sailing leoson. I really enjoyed it when we went through the surf coz' I got soaked. After an hour we left the beach and whent back to camp. I had a shower and got changed then we went to Matsos where pa went to have a beer (well 2 or 3 beers if not more) and me and nan went to an art gallerie. The gallerie was lovely it had lots of really nice modern and glass work.

Then we went to the Starlight Picture Theater which is the oldest condinually runing theater in the world . We watched Bran Nue Day which was awesome.

I'm really sorry but flickr isn't working so there want be any photos an till I get the ****** working grrrhhhhhhhhh

Hey love. How was the sailing? It's so much fun when you get soaked isn't it! I rememeber the first time I went to New Caledonia, and I went on a boat trip, I think it was on a Catamaran. Not sure. It was biggish though. There was a net between the two, um, pointy bits at the front of the boat (I'm rubbish with names but it was a LOOOOOOONG time ago). Anyway. I got to sit on the net and watch the water rush past. It was awesome! Mucking around in boats is so much fun hey?

It is awesome mucking around on boats just so long as you duck when the boat is tacking so you don't get hit in the head with boom and trust me it hurts

I am so proud of all the things you do. You are an excellent horsewoman and now you have even had a try at sailing.
I hope Nan or Pa got a picture of you on the boat.

Er, I thought you knew that I do some regaters with the sea scouts (IE Sailing races) and that I often go to Sunday Sailing at the scout hall. And yes N&P did get some photos.

Oh yes. I knew you were in the scouts but I did not realise it was sea scouts. The main reason for that is that we are not on the sea. I guess you use the lake as your little sea?

The only reson I couldn't go out by my self was coz' I'm not heavy anugh to keep the boat from capsizing in heavy wind.
